この製品は、ビンテージアメリカンワークウェア(バッファローチェックワークシャツ)を再現した復刻モデルをベースに、エクアドルのアンデス山中にあるバランカ空港を舞台に郵便飛行に従事するアメリカ人パイロットを描いた映画「コンドル」をイメージしたパッチを配したカスタム長袖シャツです。クラシックアメリカンスタイルの要素を随所に盛り込みつつも、テーラーメイドの繊細なシルエット、ディテール、縫製を取り入れ、街着として着易い洗練されたファッショナブルなデザインに仕上げられています。

形はオールドアメリカンビンテージワークウェア(1930年代から1940年代にかけてのワークシャツ)をモチーフにしたデザインです。衿は台衿チンストラップ付きの、レギュラーカラーのフルオープンタイプで、スソはカーブ状にカットされたラウンドボトム(ラウンドテール)です。

素材はコットン100%の肉厚で頑強なヘビーウェイトツイルチェックフランネル生地です。太い番手の糸で高密度に織られ、しっかりとしたボリューム感と、やわらかい着心地を併せ持つ生地です。

洗濯で水を通し乾燥させることで目が詰まり、しっかりとしたコシとハリが生まれ、主に縦方向に若干の縮みが発生します。また、着込めば着込む程に風合いが増し、程よいオールド感とヴィンテージ感がが生まれ、よりクラシックな印象を与えるワークシャツに経年変化していきます。

フランネルは生地は起毛をかけたものが多いのですが、このシャツの生地には起毛を抑え、毛羽の少ないドライで、ゴツゴツとした糸本来の風合とネップ感が残る生地に仕上げらています。厚手の生地が使用されていますので、ライトアウター(シャツジャケット)として春や秋に羽織ったり、冬のインナーとしても着用できたりと、幅広く、長い期間使い回せるアイテムになっています。

フロントは7つボタンによるフルオープン開閉式です。

左台衿にはチンストラップベルトが付属されています。

両胸には左右非対称に、ポケット(通称ガチャポケ)が設けられています。

右胸は下部がラウンドしたボタン付きフラップポケットです。

左胸は四角形のフラップ付きのフラシポケットポケットです。フラシポケットは、ポケットがボディから浮くように縫製されているのが特徴のポケットです。汗などで地図や紙幣などのポケットの中身が濡れてしまうのを防ぐための手法と言われています。

左胸ポケットには「TOYS McCOY」のピスネーム(飾りネームタグ)が縫い付けられ、ペンホルダーが装備されています。

左胸と背中にはワッペンパッチが縫い付けられています。

Also this shirt has been embellished with the Barranca Airways and Native American Indian patch, New original designs are made for the modern age. Material : 100% Cotton.

Fabric Type : The fabric made of cotton thick yarns. Made of 100% cotton non-stretch, heavyweight, thick, all cotton flannel twill with slubby, rugged and minimal brushed on the face of the fabric that is extremely durable. This flannel fabric remain unbrushed. It has the natural softness for comfort, but also strong and long lasting. This shirt comes raw/unwashed and will slightly shrink vertically after every wash and wear. Shrinkage is minimal. The more you wear, the more flannel twill fabric will fade beautifully and continue to get softer and cozier. It is perfect to wear alone or as a base layer with a outerwear.

Placket type : 7 buttons on front opening. Full-button closure (Front placket, Front button closure) with vertical button holes. Buttons are 2-holes urea buttons with engraved diamond shape design.

Collar Type : Regular collar with collar stand for crisper appearance. The collar has a neck strap (a chin strap, a throat tab, a throat latch) with buttons at right side collar that fastens across the neck. It is used to protect the wearer from wind or dust.

Cuffs Type : One button cuff with sleeve placket.

Bottom hem type : Curved hem ( shirt tail ). The shirttail scallop edge are finished with gusset, and double twisted thread run off from the shirttail scallop edge, a classic detail found on authentic work shirts. This detail was found on work shirts of the 1930s-1950s and is believed to have been used to reinforce the hem.

Pocket : This classically-styled shirt features asymmetric twin chest flap pockets with button closure. The right side one is rounded lower corners pocket. The left side square flap pocket is a sweat proof pocket. This unique pocket design features a front and back sided pouch sewn on the shirt body as opposed to a conventional patch pocket sewn directly on the shirt body. This pocket is constructed to create the pouch for preventing the contents of the pocket from contacting the shirt body directly, hence the lack of stitching on the pocket's bottom. The left side pocket has a pencil slot and brand label. And the upper pocket corners are bar tacked for extra strength.

Yoke type : Straight yoke. A shirt yoke is made from two layers of fabric for durability. Reinforced double-layers shoulder yoke for greater durability at at stress points.

Back of the shirt : No pleats.
